In particular, the package employs the Projected Entangled-Pairs States to approximate the Boltzmann distribution corresponding to the model’s cost function. This enables an efficient branch-and-bound search (within the probability space) that exploits the locality of the underlying problem’s topology. As a result, our software enables the discovery of low-energy configurations for problems on quasi-2D graphs, particularly those relevant to modern quantum annealing devices. The modular architecture of SpinGlassPEPS.jl supports various contraction schemes and hardware acceleration. a2352-711000435nas a2200133 4500000000100000008004100001100002600042700002100068700002200089700002300111245010500134856005500239490000700294 2024 d1 aTomasz Śmierzchalski1 aZakaria Mzaouali1 aSebastian Deffner1 aBartłomiej Gardas00aEfficiency Optimization in Quantum Computing: Balancing Thermodynamics and Computational Performance uhttps://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-024-55314-z0 v1400490nas a2200169 4500000000100000008004100001260001800042100001900060700001900079700001400098700002200112700002300134700002100157245007700178856005700255490000800312 2024 d c12 July, 20241 aKhadija Hawary1 aMohamed Azzouz1 aMorad Baz1 aSebastian Deffner1 aBartłomiej Gardas1 aZakaria Mzaouali00aNavigating the phase diagram of quantum many-body systems in phase space uhttps://link.aps.org/doi/10.1103/PhysRevE.110.0141200 v11001309nas a2200145 4500000000100000008004100001260001200042100001700054700002100071700001400092245010100106856005500207490000700262520089400269 2023 d c01/20231 aSanaa Abaach1 aZakaria Mzaouali1 aMorad Baz00aLong Distance Entanglement and High-Dimensional Quantum Teleportation in The Fermi-Hubbard Model uhttps://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-023-28180-40 v133 aThe long distance entanglement in finite size open Fermi-Hubbard chains, together with the end-to-end quantum teleportation are investigated. We show the peculiarity of the ground state of the Fermi-Hubbard model to support maximum long distance entanglement, which allows it to operate as a quantum resource for high fidelity long distance quantum teleportation. We determine the physical properties and conditions for creating scalable long distance entanglement and analyze its stability under the effect of the Coulomb interaction and the hopping amplitude. Furthermore, we show that the choice of the measurement basis in the protocol can drastically affect the fidelity of quantum teleportation and we argue that perfect information transfer can be attained by choosing an adequate basis reflecting the salient properties of the quantum channel, i.e. Hubbard projective measurements.00448nas a2200157 4500000000100000008004100001260000800042100002100050700001900071700001500090700001400105700001900119245008700138856005700225490000800282 2021 d cMar1 aZakaria Mzaouali1 aRicardo Puebla1 aJohn Goold1 aMorad Baz1 aSteve Campbell00aWork statistics and symmetry breaking in an excited-state quantum phase transition uhttps://link.aps.org/doi/10.1103/PhysRevE.103.0321450 v10301398nas a2200145 4500000000100000008004100001100002100042700001900063700001400082245008400096856007200180490000800252520097800260022001401238 2019 d1 aZakaria Mzaouali1 aSteve Campbell1 aMorad Baz00aDiscrete and generalized phase space techniques in critical quantum spin chains uhttps://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S03759601193077650 v3833 aWe apply the Wigner function formalism from quantum optics via two approaches, Wootters' discrete Wigner function and the generalized Wigner function, to detect quantum phase transitions in critical spin-12 systems. We develop a general formula relating the phase space techniques and the thermodynamical quantities of spin models, which we apply to single, bipartite and multi-partite systems governed by the XY and the XXZ models. Our approach allows us to introduce a novel way to represent, detect, and distinguish first-, second- and infinite-order quantum phase transitions. Furthermore, we show that the factorization phenomenon of the XY model is only directly detectable by quantities based on the square root of the bipartite reduced density matrix. We establish that phase space techniques provide a simple, experimentally promising tool in the study of many-body systems and we discuss their relation with measures of quantum correlations and quantum coherence. a0375-960101497nas a2200133 4500000000100000008004100001100002100042700001400063245009000077856007200167490000800239520110200247022001401349 2019 d1 aZakaria Mzaouali1 aMorad Baz00aLong range quantum coherence, quantum & classical correlations in Heisenberg XX chain uhttps://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S03784371183149970 v5183 aA comparative study of pairwise quantum coherence, quantum and classical correlations is addressed for non-nearest spin pairs of the 1D Heisenberg spin-12 XX chain. Following the Jordan–Wigner mapping, we diagonalize the hamiltonian of the chain and we check this procedure numerically as well. Using the “Pauli basis expansion” formalism we get the pairwise quantities studied in this work at any distance. We then, show the role of quantum correlations in revealing quantum phase transitions, the robustness of quantum discord to the temperature and the dominance of quantum correlations over their classical counterpart in the magnetic and thermal interval in quantum spin chains. We conclude the paper by shedding light from a resource-driven point of view on the new born quantity “quantum coherence” where we discuss its role in detecting quantum phase transitions being a long-range quantity, and how it outclasses the usual quantum correlations measures in the robustness against the temperature, which indicates potential uses in the framework of quantum information processing. a0378-437100389nas a2200133 4500000000100000008004100001100001800042700001900060700002400079700002100103700002400124700002100148245008600169 d1 aEwa Kędziera1 aWojciech Gamon1 aMátyás Koniorczyk1 aZakaria Mzaouali1 aAndrea Galadíková1 aKrzysztof Domino00aEMU circulation planning for Silesian Railways: case study and a quantum approach
