First part of paper presents review of existing approaches for bruxism episodes detection, creating multichannel signal acquisition and analysis based on data from different sources. A goal of described work was to propose a structure and methodology of system simply but reliable enough to be implemented in future, into portable device for bruxism episodes prevention directly by the patients, without technical support even at their homes. Simultaneous heart rate variability HRV and EMG signal recording and analysis is proposed with wavelet transform carried out on-line for characteristic peaks and slope detction in mentioned signals as a feature of bruxism episode.
