The person employed in the position of professor will be responsible for conducting scientific research in the area of computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, modelling, optimisation and decision support systems, with particular emphasis on the application of these methods to engineering problems, construction, infrastructure, and the management of technical undertaking. The scope of the position includes the development of computer science methods and intelligent computational methods, including machine learning, data mining and integration, predictive modelling and automated decision support in complex technical systems, as well as their application in the digital transformation and improvement of engineering and infrastructure processes.
